My daughter asked me to help her with the layout for this lapbook because
we had so many booklets to put in our lapbook and no cardstock to put in for the overflow.
We ended up not using two or three booklets we had ready
for our lapbook but kept the main ones that I felt we should use.

Inside of the booklet on the top left titled, "What Colour Can Stars Be?"
The explanation is found under the heading "Other" below.
Cover:
Left Flap:
I made all of the booklets on this side with Print Master. Their titles are . . .
- What colours can stars be?
- The Bible and Our Solar System (This has questions pertaining to stars, the sun, and the moon in it.)
- Which planets are larger than Earth?
- Which planets are smaller than Earth?
I made all of the booklets on and inside the green flap using Print Master. Titles are . . .
- What planets can be seen without a telescope? (top)
- What planets can only be seen with a telescope? (top)
- What does "sol" mean? (top)
- What is a person called who travels to the Moon? (inside)
- Of all the planets, which planet can animals, plants, and people live on? (inside)
- How can people get from Earth to the Moon? (inside)
I made all of the booklets surrounding the Planets Flap Book using Print Master. Titles are . . .
- What is it made of? Inside: Asteroid, Meteoroids, Comets (There is a small section to write point form information.)
- What are the hottest planets?
- What are the coolest planets?
- Which planet is closest to the sun?
- Which planet is farthest from the sun?
- God's Creation was found at Danielle's Place. Some items are free and some for members only.
- I had actually planned to use this Sun, Moon, and Stars picture for the back but printed the wrong sheet initially.
- As you can see above, we used glitter glue in our booklet asking what colours the stars could be.
- We also used stickers if planets, from the dollar store, to answer some questions such as, which planet is farthest from the sun?
- Most of the questions were inspired by Franklyn M. Branley's book, "The Planets in Our Solar System."
- There were a lot of great links to other pages that I didn't use. Here are some of the links to help you in your own lapbooking journey . . .

Fantastic!! I know what you mean about having more mini books than room...LOL...we had the same problem. Can't wait to look at some of your others.
Wow, this is amazing. You have inspired me! Would you mind sharing what you have done with me through a PDF file? I would love to copy this for future reference.

This is fabulous! I would love your PDF file. My email is eskimokisses@bellsouth.net
One of my sons is really into planets. I got him a model to put together for Christmas. So this would be a good study after Christmas. Yay! Thanks for sharing!

Erna, Jessica from Notebooking2Learn also has a ton of free minibooks she has created to go along with the Apologia Astronomy book.
If you are interested in finding someplace where you can share your own minibooks, Homeschool Launch will host them for free. You can even post a direct link to them in your blog post so people can download them from your blog.

Erna,
I was just getting ready to comment about Homeschool Launch, but I see Melissa beat me to it. I just started uploading my newer files there and so far I really like it. It makes it easy for me to post links to the files directly from my blog.
