Train Lapbook

Cover:
  • The cover was made with Print Master but if I hadn't printed this title page while thinking of making my own lapbook I would have found a Thomas the Train colouring sheet for the front.

Inside:
  • As I thought of making my own lapbook I remembered Carisa's Thomas the Train tot book. It had the components I hoped to teach my preschooler. My middle child worked on this lapbook while my oldest worked on her train lapbook (yet to be fully completed). She LOVES this lapbook!
Back:
  • This picture was originally part of a colouring book (found with Carisa's materials) but my daughter cut it all up. We put her favourite coloured train on the back. I usually put card stock on the back of our lapbooks to make them more sturdy but didn't on this one. I put a cardstock frame around the train afterward to help make the tot book sturdier.

Thanks for posting! That looks like a perfect gift for my nephew. I never have thought of lapbooks as gifts before, but he LOVES Thomas, and that would make a fun gift for the kids to make. Thanks! :)

Rebecca,

That's a neat idea to use a lapbook as a gift. Carisa's lapbooks are such a beautiful quality! I imagine he'll love it!
